Most Historic Woman's Ice Hockey Jersey- There have been many great ice hockey teams since the game began. We all are aware of the many NHL dynasty teams like the Montreal Canadians, Toronto Maple leafs and Edmonton Oilers, but one of the greatest teams ever to play was a woman's team known as the Preston Rivulettes. From 1931 until 1939 this professional team's record was 350 wins 2 losses. So great was this team that they were inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1963. The first women ice hockey players ever to have this honor bestowed on them. Two of the players were Nellie and Hilda Ranscombe, Nellie being the goalie for the team and Hilda the high scoring forward. Hilda was without doubt the finest women's hockey player of the pre-war era. She has been compared as the Wayne Gretzky of women's professional ice hockey. This team was voted along with the 1947-48 Maple Leafs, 1949-50 Detroit Red Wings, 1959-60 Montreal Canadiens and others as one of the greatest teams ever. Offered is Hilda Ranscombe's Preston Springs complete uniform from the 1930's. The red and white jersey has the sewn on "P/Spring" logo on the front and her #5 on the reverse. Also offered are her pants, socks and hockey gloves. Pictures of her wearing this uniform are found in Andrew Podnieks book, Hockey's Greatest Teams. There has NEVER been such a historic uniform offered. This is also the earliest known woman's ice hockey uniform in a private collection. A true piece of history…………$10,000

First Year Baltimore Clipper AHL Jersey- Offered is an incredible item from the first year Baltimore Ice Hockey Team of the American Hockey League, THE CLIPPERS. This jersey was from their inaugural season 1962/63 and was worn by # 14 Pat Hannigan who played wing. Hannigan had a NHL career where he played for Toronto 1959-60, the New York Rangers 1960-62 and Philadelphia 1967-69. The wool tie down jersey shows much use with holes and repaired sewn tears. The Clippers colors were black, orange and white with a circle logo of a skating Ship's captain. The Clippers were the minor league team of the New York Rangers in the days of only six NHL teams. As a result the Clipper teams during the 1960's had many NHL players spend time in Baltimore including Hall of Fame Players, Ed Giacomin, Doug Harvey, Craig Patrick, Jacques Plante and Jean Ratelle. Early jerseys from this era are very hard to find. This is a rare and historic jersey…………………$7,500

The plate shows the wear of being on the car, having rust on it but the letters are very intact with the original paint. It measures approximately 6x12. A rare collectable for hockey and car plate collectors........................$65

RARE Game Worn USA 1976 Canada Cup Hockey Jersey The jersey featured is a game used 1976 Team USA - Canada Cup jersey and it was worn by Stan Gilbertson. Stan was a left Wing in the National Hockey League and played for the California Golden Seals, Washington Capitals and Pittsburgh Penguins from 1971-1977. During his career Stan had a total of 85 goals and 89 assists. Tragically, his career was cut short due to the fact that he sustained a serious leg injury in an automobile accident in 1977.The first Canada Cup was held in 1976. Unlike 1972, the Soviet Union’s purposefully weakened representatives proved to be inferior as Canada would roll through the tournament with relative ease except for one exception - the defending world champions from Czechoslovakia. Czechoslovakia was backed by unorthodox goaltender Vladimir Dzurilla, a boyhood idol of Dominik Hasek. Dzurilla, a lanky refrigerator repairman by trade, stoned Team Canada much in the same way Vladislav Tretiak did in the 1972 Summit Series. In fact Canada’s only loss in the Round Robin was a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Dzurilla. Czechoslovakia was also led by leading scorer Milan Novy, who would be named as the the CSSR Most Valuable Player at the end of the tournament. The tournament was Bobby Orr’s first international tournament, and he did not disappoint, as he was named the Cup’s most valuable player and tied Soviet forward Victor Zhluktov for the scoring lead. 6 of Zhluktov’s 9 points came in one game – a Canada Cup record! Canada was also led by strong goaltending throughout the tournament, something which was at times lacking in 1972. Rogie Vachon, who was a late addition to training camp thanks to a Ken Dryden injury, statistically was the best goaltender, going 6-1-0 with 2 shutouts and 1.39 GAA. The Swedes were led by Toronto Maple Leaf standout Borje Salming. It was Salming - not Orr or Lafleur - who was the tournament’s most popular player, at least in Toronto and Sweden The lasting memory of the 1976 Canada Cup is of Darryl Sittler scoring the winning goal of the first overtime period, giving Team Canada the inaugural championship. Sittler broke in off the left wing and - following the advice of assistant coach Don Cherry - faked a booming slap shot causing Dzurilla to fall to his knees. Once the star goalie was down, Sittler skated by and popped the puck into the wide open night....................................................................................................................................$3,500

Early 1973-74 Fiberglass Goalie Mask worn in the NHL- Offered is National Hockey League game worn goalie mask from the era when goal tenders wore fiberglass masks before their current cage style types. This mask was worn by Ed Dyck during the 1973-74 NHL season when playing for the Vancouver Canucks. Historic Last Fiberglass Goalie Mask worn in the NHL- Offered is a historic National Hockey League game worn goalie mask from the era when goal tenders wore fiberglass masks before their current cage style types. This mask was worn by Sam St. Laurent during the 1989-90 NHL season when playing for the Detroit Redwings and also splitting time with their AHL affiliate Adirondack. He played for numerous NHL and AHL teams from 1975 through 1992 and was one of the goalies on the 1991-92 Canada Olympic Team. This mask is a full Plante style type front and back and is historic as it is the LAST FULL fiberglass mask worn by a goalie in the NHL because during the next season goalies began to wear the cage style. The mask was made by Michel Lefebrve, early prominent mask maker from Quebec Canada who made masks for Michel Dion, Bunny Larocque and for Patrick Roy. This style was also very popular in the WHA worn by Michael Deguise, and Don Mcleod and Michel Dion. The mask has impeccable provenance including: a letter showing the history of how it was obtained from Dick Curry of the Redwings; photographs of St. Laurent wearing it while playing a game; and a detailed letter from a prominent New York mask collector attesting to the ownership. This mask has been in my personal collection for the last 12 years and seldom do mask of this significance appear for sale................................................................................................$4,500

Pete Peeters Game Used Stick as a Washington Capital   This stick was used when Peeters played with the Washington Capitals from 1985 to 1989.  It is a black Sherwood  with his classic white tape at the end of the shaft.  It shows much use and was obtained in person when he played the Washington Capitals.  His name is stamped on the shaft with his number #1 also. His first showing in Flyer-land was adequate at best. He returned to Maine to complete the season and his career in the minors. From then on, Peeters would emerge as one of the top NHL goalies of his day. In 1979-80, the Flyers and their goaltender got so hot that they set a league record unbeaten streak of 35 games. By season's end Peeters and his mates went toe-to-toe with the powerful New York Islanders in the Cup finals only to lose out four games to two.  Peeters played two more seasons in Philly but found the experience to be less than satisfying. The club used a three-goalie system that reduced Peeters' ice time and put a form of pressure on him that he didn't like. In 1982, the Flyers found themselves in need of a solid blueliner while the Boston Bruins were desperate for a new backstopper. A deal was worked out that sent Peeters to Boston for Brad McCrimmon.  In Beantown, Peeters got all the ice time he could handle. He found the atmosphere to be sufficiently relaxed to bring out the best in his game. By season's end, he corralled the most wins (40) and a Vezina trophy as the league's top stopper. He was voted the second-most valuable player behind Wayne Gretzky and came within one game of tying his coach, Gerry Cheever's, record of 32 straight appearances without a loss.  After such a momentous season, it became difficult for Peeters to have any hope of topping his own standard. He performed for parts of three more seasons with the Bruins but gradually lost the razor-sharp edge he'd originally brought to town.  In late 1985, he was traded to the Washington Capitals where continued to play solidly between the pipes, especially during the 1987-88 season when he led the league with a 2.78 goals-against average. In 1989-90, Peeters went full circle by returning to the Philadelphia Flyers where he rounded out his career in 1991 .............................................................$250 CLICK IMAGE 2

Rare WHA vs. Russia Hockey Match in Tokyo 1977-78 Offered is a rare WHA players gift given by Russian players before their ice hockey games. This is a tradition between countries when they play hockey internationally, players of both teams prepare and give gifts to each other before they play. This series of games was played between numerous WHA teams and two Russian teams. The Russian Team A defeated the WHA teams 9 games to 1while Russian Team B went 4 wins 5 losses and 1 tie with the WHA. The item is a bright red blanket measuring approximately 4’x5’ and has at one end a triangular patch honoring this game. This was given to a WHA player of who I have no idea who it was, but seldom does memorabilia from this “Super Series” come to the market................................................................................................$150
